You are at the center of your online world and should have complete control over your appearance and the perception people within that world have of you. Always strive to create a world that has value, honesty and integrity at the core because you are that core.

Quickly and Easily

This is what everyone is looking for and fortunately the tools and training to accomplish the creation of a virtual world have made it a painless undertaking.

The speed at which your online world can be created is simply astounding. As you discover what is taking place when you…

1.    Start a Blog or Website
2.    Create a profile on a social network
3.    Spread content around the internet
4.    And start linking everything together

… you’re creating a virtual world and you are right in the middle of it.

Parents have been telling their children for generations that the world doesn’t revolve around them but this is different. The world you create is designed to revolve around you.

Whether your world is intended for personal, professional or philanthropic purposes you are the designated epicenter. You are the center of the online business world you create and the more that world reflects you the better your business will be.

What Your World Sees…

In real life the world you live in is unique. No one else has the same exact people in the same exact relationships sharing the same exact experiences as you.

You are a small part of thousands of other people’s worlds all intersecting and sharing some common ground.

So imagine being thrown in the middle of that world with all eyes fixed on you and every ear hanging on your every word; kind of scary.

… Is What You Show Them

The magic of your online world is that for the most part you control what people see, hear and discover about you. The greater the control you have over the media you utilize, the more accurately you can portray yourself to your world.

Honesty is the most important ingredient in any relationship. The people in your online world have limited information to consume about you compared to actually knowing you but they will always recognize sincerity and will always expect integrity.

The clearer your content presents your image or your brand, the more likely the people in your virtual world will have that sense of really knowing you.

Popularity through Value

In addition to the people in your online world recognizing you regardless of where they find you as an honest and sincere person, they expect some type of reward for belonging to your world.

In the same way we expect our friends in life to put themselves out there for us and expect even more from our families, being the center of your own internet universe does command a few expectations.

The most important question to ask is, “How have the people in my internet sphere benefited from their experience today?” This will force you to provide honest value and increase the gravitational pull on anyone who is still orbiting you in cyber space.

It’s never too late to take control of  your online world and weave your personality, vision and passion into the world you’ve already created.

Your MLM market is distinct and exclusive but they live among thousands of people who are definitely not who you’re looking for.

Knowing where to find them is a matter of knowing what they look like and what they’re looking for. Attracting your market to you is the easiest way of finding them.

List Building

When you realize that building a database or a list of people is the source for your future in the MLM business you’ve chosen, you’ll want to find ways to build that list.

The internet is undoubtedly the biggest body of water to fish in when it comes to adding names to your lead list. Not all leads have the same value and a big list doesn’t necessarily mean huge profits.

Different lures attract different fish and knowing who you want to reach affects what you’ll use to reach them.

Prescreening

Employers have been using prescreening techniques for years. They realize that by only conducting interviews with qualified applicants they save time and money.

Your MLM business depends upon converting leads into business leaders. It takes less time and resources when you’re dealing only with applicants who have already demonstrated leadership capabilities.

This doesn’t mean that you only have to choose people who have a proven history in leadership, but every person in your training program that isn’t already qualified will require more of your time and expense.

How To Find Them

People with specific interests in the products your MLM offers might make good customers but people interested in how they can leverage your MLM for significant profit or lifestyle enhancement will make great business leaders.

First you want to position yourself ahead of your MLM company or any other affiliate company you want to promote. Fish are attracted to lures but people are attracted to people.

Your demonstration of the exact qualities you’re looking for is the key. When you provide valuable information to people they always want more.

They Want More

Your MLM market is swimming in schools within the ocean of people with one distinct characteristic; they want more.

The people in your market aren’t satisfied with the status quo of working all week for a boss to pay the bills and feed their family.

The good news is that they’re always looking and it is much easier to attract the attention of someone who has their eyes and mind open.

I’d love to hear what you think of this article… share it with the people you connect with so that they can grow online… and as always READ IT, FEED IT & TWEET IT!

Living an Inspired Life Will Inspire Others…

Proper motivation is necessary to becoming a leader. True leadership respects the source and flow of motivation and maintains balance by ensuring the wells that feed the fountains never run dry.

Motivation is the greatest force behind true leadership and becoming a leader requires knowing where motivation begins and how it flows.

Becoming a leader involves understanding that these fountains contain the water you must drink from; they must never run dry.

The term ‘self made’ is incongruous with what really happens on the road to success. Successful entrepreneurs need the motivational influences outside of themselves in proper balance and alignment.

The 5 Fountains of Motivation

This list is created in order and each fountain fills the next:

1.    Spiritual motivation
2.    Professional motivation
3.    Personal motivation
4.    Social motivation
5.    Charitable motivation

These fountains spring from the wells that supply the waters of motivation. Leadership flourishes or withers depending upon the depth of each well.

Spiritual Motivation

You may or may not resonate with the most powerful motivational force in existence but people of faith have an advantage when it comes to leadership.

People who learn to worship a perfect leader that cannot be equaled are drawn toward a level of perfection they can never attain. This is motivation at its zenith; the well that never runs dry.

Simply trying to wrap your mind around the infinite will motivate you to get creative. The farther you look outward into space or inward toward subatomic particles your mind is flooded with inspiration and flows freely.

Professional Motivation

When you’re already aiming for a standard, higher than any human standard, professional conduct and integrity will define your business affairs. Your posture as a leader is subjective to and reflects a higher authority.

You begin to see the flow of motivation from a continuous eternal source that is able to fill every other well of motivation.

Your drive to provide the best possible product or service continuously feeds your sense of purpose and meaning.

Personal Motivation

If you find yourself unmotivated or lethargic you should always check the first two wells. Leaders know how to keep their tanks full.

Personal motivation is an extension of a greater purpose and should not be treated as your primary focus. You are inspired and become an inspiration because you are fed and therefore can feed.

We are not meant to be on the top rung. It is a precarious position that is not only self-destructive but affects the wells that actually do lie below us.

Social Motivation

Personal motivation feeds self assurance but if you allow social motivation to fill that tank you subject yourself to peer pressure. Leaders don’t follow the crowd.

Placing the emphasis on what people want above our personal, professional or spiritual integrity is a dangerous proposition. What people want isn’t always what’s best for them and following this cycle leads to costly consequences.

The want for cheaper food leads to poor nutrition, which leads to weakness, illness and disease; society doesn’t always want what it should. A leader is socially motivated based upon the greater good and draws from the previous three wells to meet specific needs.

Charitable Motivation

When you’ve maintained the wells from which motivation springs the end result is abundance of both time and resources. Charity is dependent upon leaders who can optimize schedules and finances.

You can see evidence of improper motivation in landfills strewn with stuff that was purchased and discarded. Shortages in food banks and escalating debt are also signs that motivation is unbalanced.

If you arrive at the point of wanting to give but have nothing to give it is never because of a lack of charitable motivation. Becoming a leader by following this pattern means your capacity to give will always increase.

The 2nd step in your home business game plan requires creating your info product for what we call a low cost item. This establishes the entrepreneur as being:

1.    Passionate about the needs within their niche
2.    Committed to delivering valuable resources
3.    Capable in their leadership role (confident sales enough to charge money)

Information product marketing is everywhere and thanks to the internet buy the process from idea to first sale is fast and easy.

Your low cost information products and services should be simple and congruent with any free products you’ve created. They should step up and deliver more by offering a specific solution to an urgent problem.

Step 1: Identify An Urgent Problem Within Your Niche

This could be one of the first issues you had to overcome when starting your business. You may have done everything correctly or you may have faced issues that complicated matters.

All of your experiences are valuable to someone who’s never had them especially if they’re about to go through the same trials. Your perspective is unique because it gives others who will come behind you a glimpse into the future.

Step 2: Formulate The Problem/Solution Syntax

This process actually pulls together most of the info product creation details which is why entrepreneurs should always keep wisdom journals.

Once you learn how valuable problems actually are you’ll begin to look at them as opportunities for profit. It goes against common sense to look for challenges and difficulties but reality pays handsomely to the one who prevails.

Everyone resonates with an unquestionable conclusion. If your solution works it can be backed up with a guarantee or promise.

Step 3: Frame The Solution With Benefits

One of the greatest incentives to create info products is also the incentive to buy them… they save time.

If I have a choice between reading an info product that promises to help me setup an account at xyz.com following a step by step process or going to xyz.com and trying to figure it out myself…

Saving time is only one of thousands of possible benefits that information products offer. This is why an understanding of your niche will prove vital because you’ll know exactly what they consider the ‘BEST’ benefits.

Even listing the benefits you’re looking for yourself can begin to frame an information product or service. Wherever you decide to start, you’re only two steps away from creating your first info product.

Database of Friends

Leading with value breeds valuable leads. The key to building a list is to know who you want to attract and then developing relationships based upon providing valuable content.

These 7 steps outline the absolute essentials of email list building. This is actually part 1 of a 7 part ‘Home Business Game Plan’ that is used by the top 1% of online home business owners.

1. Define Your Niche

When it comes to building lists you want to keep distinct groups under exacting titles. Building a list of people interested in healthy living may contain several smaller lists with more focused niche groups.

2. Craft or Design a Gift

Now that you fully know your niche group you know what they need and want… so give it to them. Everyone is attracted to a free offer.

3. Write About It

Creating articles and Blog posts increases awareness of the unique gift you have. It also produces curiosity because your niche already has an interest.

4. Video About It

One of the greatest email list building techniques is to show your niche exactly what you have to offer and tell them where they can go to sign up.

5. Introduce It in Online Forums

Once considered one of the list building secrets, forums are an opportunity to introduce a gift which meets an exact need. Forums also help you better understand and bond with your niche.

6. Socialize

Social networks allow you to build a list inside their communities. Think about your friends on any social network as an extension of your list and allow them to sign up for your free offer inside that social environment.

7. Advertise

No other single method can build a list for you faster than placing ads that your niche will respond to. Ads that offer free gifts to people who want them are electric.

Special Projects

I’m amazed at what can happen in a very short time. My internet presence can be clearly dated (if anyone is bored enough to investigate something that trivial) but the consistent application of a few sound techniques have just mushroomed in no time at all.

When I look back over my schedule for the last two weeks a lot of things I’ve been doing for months suddenly stopped. I didn’t go on vacation…  I started writing my Ebook.

The Online Journey

Like most people I used to waste a lot of time on the internet reading things of interest. In contrast now I spend most of my time filling the internet up with… well, things of interest.

Well I find them interesting. Mostly because they have to do with helping people discover a lifestyle that is closer than they’ve ever imagined.

Every opportunity I touch online seems to unfold into several more. My Ebook is one of them.

Nothing But Common Sense

No business can expect to compete for very long unless they learn how to leverage the internet but most business owners seem to have a serious aversion to getting involved with creating their internet presence.

Most of the valuable information products I’ve consumed over the last six months have been about one thing:

“Taking a lot of information and refining it until only the most precious elements remain.”

That’s what I did and I’m excited that I’ll be able to launch it in the next few days.

Where Most Of Us Begin

When the idea of owning an internet based business first crossed my mind, the first action step I took was to experience as much free online home business training as possible.

Social – Ads – SEO

It was all new to me at the beginning. Putting the pieces together happens a lot quicker these days. Like a child’s puzzle that only has a few large pieces.

Any number of pictures can be drawn, and the puzzle pieces can have a variety of shapes, but if you have them all, know that you need them all, and use them all, you get the picture.

How Valuable Is Free?

Completely subjective is the two word answer.

Even at the beginning I found a lot of the training material to be just common sense.

The idea around training isn’t just about the specific class or topic, but the quality of the resource.

MIT Is Free

For anyone that isn’t aware, MIT offers their entire curriculum online free of charge. Sounds crazy but only a few people are smart enough to figure that stuff out on their own and I suspect MIT would love to meet them.

In the same way, if the source that is offering the free training is valuable, it’s like letting people peek inside a vault at what is available, or letting them hold the goose that lays the golden eggs.

It Only Takes A Second

The beauty of doing business online is the internet. It’s fast, convenient and affective.

Within minutes of a scheduled training session going public, internet pathways can be constructed around the world leading people from everywhere back to where the training will take place.

Try doing that with the pony express.

Over Your Shoulder Support

The avalanche of entrepreneurs turning to internet based businesses has given rise to the need for online business coaches. While the online coaching business typically remains within tightly knit business networks, independent home business owners are either offering, or being offered services from outside their normal sphere.

Who’s Watching You?

Have you ever been in a public place and overheard frustration? Sometimes we can’t help but get absorbed in other peoples difficulties even if we can’t help.

I’m a troubleshooter and fixer upper by nature. I live for the rush of making things work, or making them work better.

Even as an employee your world suddenly crystallizes around something you did, especially when no one else could do it.

It’s A Miracle!

Have you ever taken credit for unexplained phenomena? When you do it makes people laugh because they know how ridiculous your assertion is.

Our local library is small. While I’m busy looking for my daughter’s favorite ‘Winnie the Pooh’ video I can’t help but overhear a woman who’s frustrated with the printing program.

The library charges for the paper so if you want to print something out their secondary program has to kick into gear or the process stops.

Have you ever clicked away with a mouse dozens of times with the same negative results? That’s the frustration I heard in her voice.

I Love To Help

So I’m done checking out my videos, (tonight is movie night in our house and my youngest usually ends up in another room because she’s not interested in what we’re watching) and I make my move over to where this woman is sitting.

“What are you trying to print?” I ask politely.

While she’s showing me the ‘Print Ready’ button she automatically clicks it. I’m guessing she’d done that about a dozen times already.

“This is the printer friendly version of the screen you were just on…” I start to say but she’s already clicked on ‘File’ ‘Print’ and for the first time since she started doing this 10 minutes ago, the library print window pops up.

She’s speechless.

I have to ask her if this was what she was looking for.

Nodding her head, perhaps a little embarrassed, she’s already clicked and started the print process.

{This is the punch-line}

Sensing the tension (I’ve done this before) I turn to walk away, look her in the eye and say, “Sometimes it depends upon who’s watching it.”

I have a great dead pan delivery and she thought that was hilarious.

When I told the story to my wife it rang true. This phenomenon isn’t an isolated event. I watch what people are doing and their problem seems to vanish; almost like the computer is intimidated by my presence.

In reality computers and computer programs get glitches. Just because I’m looking at what’s happening makes no difference in functionality at all.

Coaches Find Solutions

We’re starting up our online coaching business and while initially we’d considered doing group coaching, I’m leaning more toward the one on one approach.

Too many clients have such divergent concerns it would be disingenuous to lump them together hoping to address their specific needs.

There is an incalculable advantage to having someone objectively watching and discussing what you’re doing.

Just like the woman in the library we can get fixated on what we’re doing and lose our objectivity.

The solutions aren’t as easy but the process is the same; the person who’s watching you offers a fresh perspective.

The Spirit of Encouragement

When we think about the people who inspire or encourage us, it’s easy to receive that encouragement without realizing the power of reciprocating that energy.

Let me say that another way.

Leaders are expected to encourage or they won’t be leaders for long. Leaders need encouragement as well. Sometimes it’s just a matter of saying thank you.

Grace Honesty and Integrity

Entrepreneurs looking for a business coach evaluate where their business is and where they want it to go. Since the best of the best all use business coaches we won’t even ask if it is necessary.

People don’t generally put themselves out there as a coach unless they can qualify that claim. Not every coach will work with every individual, nor can everyone afford the best coaches available.
