writerLearned very quickly today that this is something I enjoy doing. It helps people in the business world, especially small business owners, and refreshes my appreciation for community leaders.

Writing endorsements for local papers, online journals and blogs, or even social media sites can be a great way to build relationships and fuel the tanks for content laden blogging. When we take the time to write down how much we appreciate what great work someone is doing, or how much they’ve help us, we gain a little perspective in how we portray ourselves to others.

Always be specific because no one relates well to generalities. Imagine that the reader is the most important person in the world to the one we’re writing about. Perhaps a future client or business partner will see what we’ve written and make a decision based on our endorsement.

Remember to be honest and sincere. Integrity leaves a paper trail that always comes back to you.
