What Doesn’t Kill Us Makes Us Stronger

I wasn’t saying that yesterday when I blew this website out of the water… in fact I wanted to cry. I made a video to show how to blow away your blog with one click. I don’t recommend it.

I was reminded of how upset my daughter was when the movie she had been building on a laptop slowly scrolled down the screen and went away.

Same gut wrenching, curl up in the corner in the fetal position, click your heals together or whatever other trick can undo something stupid we’ve just done… I’m still waiting for the moment when I’ve matured enough not to do any more stupid things.

  1. David you have a real talent with videos – well done! Very good points you make. I'd also like to suggest that one tries to find a way to be different in emails, for example by using a customized signature.

  5. Very Engaging! I look forward to seeing more of your animoto work.

  6. Great video and a big wake up call to so many email “marketers.” Relationship building is still the most basic thing in building any business. Let's not turn our market off before they know who we are.

  9. thanks Ryan… it's easy to keep up the good work when you love and believe in what you're doing…

  10. thanks Stephen,
like every relationship we're in, we can make it better or worse depending upon what we chose to say and do.

  11. thanks Susanna… animoto is fun, I'm still making adjustments… working with video seems to keep me moving in many different directions depending upon what message I'm trying to convey.

  12. thanks Garrett… I keep trying to best myself (and watching other peoples work also gives me ideas on how to do that)
