Making A Difference
It’s easy to have faith in what we’re doing when the results show up. We set short range goals to bolster the confidence necessary to overcome obstacles. Accurately measuring the distance to our long range goal requires the successes that we celebrate along the way.
Acquiring more faith is a goal that we accomplish only in the process of persistence. This truth is brought to light most obviously in the act of giving up.
If you give up, you lose faith. If you lose faith, you’ve given up.
Running a business, like running a race, is a continuous activity. If the goal to running races is winning, then the goal of running a business is prospering.
The entrepreneur starts out because they believe in what they’re doing. Providing they exercise the discipline of persistence, they will develop more faith in what they’re doing; and they will succeed.
